I had this wallpaper in my WIPs for some time now and with the little time I've got I applied some finishing touches and decided to upload it.

The idea came to me as I was looking through my saved scans [don't remember where I got it] some time ago and started working on it immediately but due to several projects/midterms I was left with no time for walling >.<
Anywayz, the idea is exactly what you see. A battle just before the sunrise.

I used Terragen for the basic terrain and some stock photos for the trees and the clouds and played with the colours.

Next, I smudged everything...a lot XD
I wanted to give the wall a painting-like feeling and I believe I achieved it.
And finally I used several textures.

Hope you like it :)

PS. If you find it too dark, tell me so that I kick the lvl up a bit

Wow i really like this paper. I love the painting effect you tried to give it, it looks just like that old paper they used to (or maybe still) use. the only thing i dont like is its kinda hard to tell what they're doing, (obviously fighting but...) thanks man great work

Going on my favorites and desktop. Its very pretty. Just a bit too dark, but still nice. The dark tones work well. Thats an awsome scan, and background. I love it very much..the textures are great too.

I wouldn't mind seeing it a shade or two lighter, making Naruto and Sasuke easier to see. But, really awsome job, one of the best I've seen.

I love painting style and I like action scene walls and I like dark atmosphere so how can I not like this wall. ^^
Well the only thing I may like less is that the textures are of the same intensity everywhere. Like there was the same amount of painting overall.
But anyway I found a new desktop for myself ^^ Thanks!

Nice wall, I like the paint effect, even when it´s a little bit dark, I like it very much. You really can think that it´s a batlle before sunrise ( hehe or maybe can be on the afternoon too) anyway, I enjoy viewing this wall ^^

Well this is a very nice scan I'll tell you that!. Its great that someone uses terragen from time to time =]. its a bit dark. Also if you plan to make it canvas like, the picture should look more like a painting =]. But its a good start!. good job xD

First and foremost, this piece kicks complete ass.

I love the darker colors. It seems so sleepy, and dreamlike. I think that lends itself to the ninja subject matter. Not that Naruto really fallows the "ninja" rules, but I think you have the idea down pat.

My only complaint is that you don't have smaller resolutions! But that's okay, no worries.

It really reminds me of a water-color piece with the nature in the background. Everything is really hazy, and fluid. LIKE THE COLORS.

Damn.

Keep on rockin' and I hope to see more of your work.
