This looks quite good overall. I think the only thing that might call for a change is the treetop. It just seems like it clashes way too much with the rest of the wall. It looks quite strange. Perhaps some details or textures, something to make it look less like a big undefined pink blob.
As a whole, this looks pretty good though.

Okay, now for my comment.

Firstly, I like the layout, the background and everything work very well together. My only concern is, like most of the others have already mentioned above, the lack of detail.

Indeed, I do enjoy simplistic wallpapers, but they really depends on the layout. Because there's scenery in this particular wallpaper, what I look for is good detail.

Don't get me wrong, I like this wallpaper, BUT I think, no, I KNOW that it can be improved to be much, much better than it already is. Small touches such as adding depth to the background, making the light more realistic, even adding ripples to the water, could make this wallpaper a masterpiece.

I'm fine with 2D wallpapers, but because of the layout in this particular wallpaper, it looks rather strange when everything appears to make up a scene, yet all seem to be paper-thin. Add some shadows, try and make things more 3D-ish.

I know you can do it, just give it a shot =)

Overall though, nice work.

I really everything but texture its a little to hard.. but what do I know! haha
my favorite part is the cherry blossoms, I like how its hazy but parts are defined ^^
