As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. At last I finished my first wallpaper :) It took about 3 days and the worst thing was... text, all fonts, colors and spacing didn't fit to wallpaper :'(

I used this scan http://img211.imageshack.us/img211/6729/ot345hw.jpg
First I reduced noise and draw missing sky, next I make fence, then mountains, trees and bush. When I have all landscape I inserted words from song "Lithium Flower" (GITS:SAC ED i think) and in the end I used some blur :) And here you can find this wallpaper without blur http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/2751/otdawn19xt.jpg

Wel, I think it looks good, and I hope you like it :)

Nice wall. An ideal blend of style and grace.
The lighting really makes this wall work and very interesting mix of colors, too.
The lighting and colors interact really well to bring everything together.
Great job with the text, too. It all adds up to give the wall uniqueness.

This is quite nice: the scan you have used is quite a bit different from what we usually see for this series, and some good colours. Lithium Flower somewhat fits Mizuho too, though I would not have personally considered her a lithium flower. Looks quite nice though.

Nice wall! I especially like the background and trees. But I think you should lose the text in the upper left. If you want to have any text at all, go with a simple line or two on the bottom left. But that's just my opinion.

Wow, thats some effort you put in there. Drawing the mountains and the extra hedges to fit the size of the wallpaper. Good work. The color of the flying text fits the picture, but I feel that it sinks into the picture too much and doesnt catch any attention, perhaps thats your intention in the first place =P
