This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

I decided to try and do one of my scenery wallpapers over again with a Juuni Kokki image this time.

It was a lot of fun, so hopefully it looks okay to you guys.

Right now Juuni Kokki is the series I'm re-watching. I got the first box set as a Christmas gift as a friend and re-watching it has made me laugh it all over again. It's just to bad I have yet to see the ending... I have only been able to see the first 8 dvds.

Anyway, it was fun making this walls theme blue. The original picture was blue all around her and it looked good that way so I decided to get it that way. I did, however, put a bit of a darker and bluish tint to her so she wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb or something.

The planet was a lot of fun. I'm still practicing on my planets, but it's a working progress.

I don't know anything about the series but....... I like the pretty planet even though it has its moments that it looks like the moon xP The blue was nice... I love how you don't make the grass superficial; like she does look like she's stepping on it. The only iffy part I have is with the water or I think it's water (like between the mountain and grass) Also I think the mountains might be a little big if you want to get rid of the texture for it... I wonder if that sounded confuzzling :/

I have both dvd sets and its an amazing story :) you should make more of this series.. the twelve kingdoms is my fav anime right now~ you deffinitly have to get a hold of the next dvds! its soo cool :P

I remember playing paintball with my cousin before... I shot him at the head while he was running towards me and the goggles he was wearing cracked too... Talk about cheap... :P Anyway, noone was hurt thanks to the really thick body armor thing we wore. And it was pretty fun. Wish I could do it again...

And airsoft? I think it's great too. But I never tried shooting at someone with one for fun...

Ryuu, do you just shoot targets with an airsoft gun or have a shootout with other people? And do you put on body armor to protect you? Or is being exposed to the "bullets" part of how you can tell you've been hit and should play dead?

Lol, sounds like fun anyway. As long as noone gets seriously hurt or arrested. :P

Nice scan, a very nice one and the background is spectacular!

Love all the shades of blue around her and I like the fact that none of the blue clashes and melts into her blue uniform.

Great work, please keep it up!

It's definitely beautiful, and stunning, and i like the nice swirly things behind, you also have a good style with making water. i like the real-ness of it. if you really like to add more, probably mist or clouds, like extra detail of it. but i personally like it the way it is. the simpler a wall may seem, is actually better. :D and this is really nice.
