This is the most crazy tiring thing I've ever done . Starting from the fact that I painted the whole thing with my mouse because my tablet arrived as a super belated birthday present XD.

Okay, so straight to the process, because I'm so proud of this as a whole, it deserves to be explained (_/)..

First I started from this sketch and then went to the pen tool to make the lineart.

After that I just started to apply colors and make little changes http://img30.imageshack.us/i/paper1454.jpg/ and minor adjustments to the shading; then I went to illustrator and traced the hair with a custom made brush and layer modes to give it shades . Then I exported it as a png file, placed it on a widescreen sized file and used some custom made brushes for the bokeh effect on the photo i grabbed from sxc.hu; and textured the text and the girl's shirt.

Layers: 200+ without counting illustrator layers
