After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

I think it's my first bright wall here lol
btw, here's the description that I copy from MT:
Auhhh... I can't thinking about title... sorry if it's too plain like Wall does ^^"

But still I wanna dedicated this wall to my good friends,
Minami-chan and Miku-chan, happy belated b'day for you two and also happy early birthday to DB-chan

I had add this in my project about 2 month ago and it's based from my own drawing I am Florist. But I just can start it in August 20th, 2009 in focus ^^

Finish this in September 1st, 2009, this day, and straight to submit it ^^
I really enjoy this work so much specially while do lineart and details like in the flowers and beads ^^

Well don't much to say cause there's many projects that queued up
Hope you like it and like usual fav/ comment are really welcomed ^^

This looks amazing but I can't help but think that your character is way too similar to CLAMP's Kobato.

The art is great but I think you should try being more original.

For a moment I thought this was card captor sakura! Fantastic switch to bright style, you can pull off both styles really well! Great vector work, really clean. Lovely simple background. My only critisism is... I wish you had higher resolutions! XD Think about us poor lonely 1920x1200 users maybe in the future! I would give you 100 favorites in return!

i was just going through the gallery, then I was like, um..there's a well done looking wall. click..0-0 it's by haya-chan~
well i do agree sort of with storm and fire since for a moment i thought that too
but it's also just a cute long haired chara in your style :D :D
i really love the bright and warm feelings this gives out
my only complaint would be the background's too white, at times i think it didn't have a bg

Well, it does feel the same like Kobato like what storm and fire said
but, i think your art is nice too
You can put something more for the background
for example, the flowers petal since the girl is carrying flowers

At first I thought it was Kobato too until I read the description ^_^ The eyes of your character look different though :D

Anyway, lovely colours, gorgeous vectoring and nice composition all together. What makes this wallpaper more outstanding is that it's an original anime art < 3

Nice wallpaper. Good to see some original art.
In regards to storm and fires comment... i see what you mean but y'know, ive lost count as to how many times ive seen other (experienced) wallers with styles that resemble a current anime/character or depict the same poses as in a scan like this case. Maybe the scan was just used as a guideline for the layout (like the basket, pose, hair position etc), because i personally think there is a fair bit of difference between Kobato and the character in the wall. Using scans as references is fine in my opinion... even experienced artists sometimes refer to scans or other sources to get their ideas from. BUT... maybe it was just striking coincidence after all. But i dunno. Lol.
The comment was fine though, and im not criticizing it in any way coz i see the valid point that was given. ;)

But yeah, the wall is great. Its a good attempt at some original work. I also like the flowers you added in the basket and the hat on her head. My only minor crit... the basket looks a bit off-balance and the background seems a tad empty as previously mentioned. Nothing worth worrying much about though. It looks great as it is.

This wall is lovely. I love the color scheme, very soft and pastel. It suits the girl very nicely. I do wish the background had a bit more too it though. I feel like it's too pale and doesn't compliment the figure in the center.

With regard to similarity to already existing artists... I think there are a lot of faces found across the manga and anime universes that look exactly the same and can only be distinguished by their hair and style of dress. I guess with this in mind, a good goal may be how to take a basic concept and making it your own somehow.

I just feel that, as happens with books (Lord of the Rings to Harry Potter to Septimus Heap) and video games (every other RPG vs Final Fantasy), someone is always going to compare you to someone else who has already made a name for themselves.

Gawd...you tricked me good. I thought I had a CLAMP work on my hands here :P

Love the drawing though. A bit too oversaturated for my tastes, but nice fluffy background to contrast. Not sure if the snow in the foreground matches the scenery though (nothing to really indicate that weather -- maybe you like having random white dots like CLAMP! :P).

Anyways, as you should know, don't heed comments about your originality. However, if you stay that similar to CLAMP's drawing style, surpass them and make a superior style!

This wallpaper is so pretty ^^ i love how her presence fills up the whole wallpaper~ i don't think she looks too much like kobato except maybe the outfit and MAYBE the hair? xD but i think this girl looks a bit more mature but its beautiful ^^

i do think the background could be more i don't know interesting? but its beautiful the way it is ^^
