This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Well, i don't have so much to say about it. It took me about one and half hour and even if i took the most part of time extracting, reconstructing and cleaning the scan, i played with it and i liked more being translucid and "shaking"... because it makes a good effect with the bg, videa virtane fs wich i copyed and merge the same bg 3 or 4 times and give it light and color filters. I feel it strange, but i like it and wanted to upload it.

Wonderful background, and the choice of colors are stunning. It would look even better if Etna wasn't so blurred and blended with the foreground.

Beautiful wall. The design in the background is mesmerizing.
The colors really hold true to Etna's dark nature, and the scan was extracted very well.

I really love how you blened your brush work in with the wallpaper, looks really great. The color scheme isnt bad alos works very well with the render. The only thing that shys me away from it is the blurryness of the render. Other than that great job defenite desktop material ^^

Overall nice wall...although as said...space backgrounds are waaaaay overdone.
what i would like to see is tha space a more redish such to match the colors of the scan.

Nice wall, Good resolution. Though the only thing i don't like is the image, Its a bit too dark. or the background is too dark and the image isn't bright enough. Maybe if you brought out the image more and blended the effect a little better. it may bring out the image or make it a bit more noticeable. all in all its a great attempt

Oh my god -- I love this! You've accented the scan beautifully, and it doesn't distract from the main focal point of the wall. The pink is really pretty -- this has such a fresh yet warm feel to it. I just love it. Beautiful work :love:.
