As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. One more time with an image of the Ai Yazawa. The original idea, was bg black and the really all alone light illuminating the face of the Isabella, but it was not good. Then I made, by the way several versions, with different colors and light. The original version, for example, has three different versions.

The idea is really nice. but the execution/overall quality, could be better.
first of all, the flower on his eye could be shaped smoother and more perfect.
some places are a bit blurry. maybe a bit more contrast, especially lighter areas on the face could've helped too.
good job. :D

It is an extremely interesting image. It pleases enough to the textures in the hat and its clothes to me, as well as the bottom. But, I believe simply that what more flame my attention is the game with the grays.

I love it! I think it was a great idea to have everything in the greys except for the eye colouring. Although I quite like the coloured one, this wall looks great too. Nice job!
