After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! Well... This is my version of Motoko, she is soo cooll XD, anyways, i want to bring life to her so i decided to paint her from this scan:

anyways, long time no see everyone, sorry for disappear for such a long time, I was soo busy with college application... Actually, I started this painting long long time ago and totally forgot about it until today, and I open it up and paint the rest, such as her hands and stuff, but I ended up blurring them all, which is kinda wasting my time, well, i have a day off today anyways...
I'll post the close up very soon, i'm too lazy to do anything right now

Her face, eyes, and hair look very good! I think you succeeded bringing life and your own touch to her character.
But I don't think her chest should have the same amount of blur as her hand; I think the hand should be the blurriest since it's the closest to the viewer. And right now the parts that are blurry have the same amount of blurriness, so yea, the depth of field is kinda off a bit. But the painting is fabulous. :D I wonder which program you used to paint her?

OMFG! The hair... its just amazing.
The painting as a whole is fantastic.
The blur on her shoulders works to make her face as the focal point, but take away the blur on the gun and boobies.

It is still beautiful so +FAVE

Anyways, I love the hair and the face, but some of the parts you've blurred look weird:S

Painting has his own magic and you made it very well. I would like to have a very little less blurr on the shoulder, but anyways it looks great compared to the original. Artistic piece would I say.

Good job with painting it.You did quite a job with the hair.I am impressed.Looks real indeed.And that blur effect puts quite a charm into the wallpaper as well but i have 2 problems.Number 1 is around her leg where you signature is, that leg looks a bit jagged especially around the knee cap and also by your signature there was these splatters (very tiny dots) that well are actually very small but still they take away the pleasant view.The second problem would be around her chin (right side) over there was the chin comes down at a point it suddenly takes a fall and then continues the slope.A bit editing here and there make a mighty big difference especially if you want your wallpaper to be "Real" :)

Awesome stuff. I don't think making it over-perfect is the way to go. actually, tweaking it here and there would make it a completely different wall. the way it is now it's very art-ish and hand-made feeling, which is great imo. if you have time you could tweak it to perfection, but that'd wouldn't make this one the less good version :) superb imo !

WOW! I've tried to do some digital painting myself, but yours comes out looking positively stunning! Her hair in particular looks great, and her eyes are so intense. I've always been impressed as to how an anime-style can still come out looking so much more "realistic" when the painting is done right. And you certainly have done it right!
