As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

Some words about...
Inspiration: I just wanted to do a scenery wallpaper with forest as a theme.
Time: approximately 3 hours
Style: scenery, photo-manip, dark.
Tools: Adobe Photoshop CS4, Wacom Bamboo ONE.

Elements used...
Scan: found here in AP.
Photo: found by googling "forest".

I like your use of foreground, it has a nice textured look! I think you went slightly overboard with the posterize(?) effect though, but it's nothing to get worried about!

The extraction is nice, but if you paint the background or making it high quality, it'll be good..but nice idea you cutout it =D nice work.

The green forest is very peaceful. Effects in the green is very delicate and realistic. The angel is enjoying her own world.

This is cool. I really like the atmosphere of the forest. It would be awesome if you could paint it, but way too much work. I think you blended the character well with the surroundings, so good job. XD

Wow, never expected to find a lovely Children of Mana wall! I've always thought Tess was cute and liked her character design, so it's nice to see a wall of her. The forest theme actually fits her very well and I think the wall is beautiful.

I remember seeing the scan of the girl and later on a wallpaper with it and thinking "damn what a poor wallpaper" because she didn't blend with the background at all.But you fixed that.It feels as though her place is in that forest

The foresty atmosphere, intricate to the game, owns. Awesome and deep work hehe. Try to pursue the blending a bit more.
