As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

Boring title, I know!
I was planning to make a vector wallpaper but I realized that it takes way too long, so I just made a vector-inspired one. Kind of a background that would fit for a vector work, I think.
I made this some months ago so I don't really remember much of what I did to it. XD
10 layers. MERGED. It was around 30-40 from the beginning. o.O
Texture from Kyuusho.net
Render from planetrenders.net <--- the quality was CRAP so I had to fix it a bit. It might still look a bit messy but I did what I could.

Enjoy. (Btw it's my 3rd wallpaper ever made.)

I like the soft background ^^
The only part that bothered me a little was the black glow around the pink... thing (what should I call it? XD)
Anyway, the scan really goes well with this background! Good job ;)

Soft and Bright Background are Really Reall Wonderful and Well-Match for the Angel and the Devil.

I think image looks somewhat grainy. The background is nicely candy-floss-ish but I don't like the pattern they are sitting on - reminds me of crop-circles!
