Well, finally finished this wallpaper that's delayed for months.
Here's the concept:
I took the concept out from a small event in RahXephon TV episode 16

The event goes like this, Ayato had just realized that he is actually a Mulian (human with blue colored blood)
He was fooled by everyone (even the one he trust the most) and had many complex psychological problem with this.
Megumi is a normal human girl, she fell in love with her senior. She didn't know that the senior already goes out with Megumi's best friend. Just a day before she finally decided to tell him about her feelings she accidentally found out about their relationship.
Then, she sit back to back against a wall with Ayato. They each talked about completely different things (their own problem), but the conversation connected. Then finally she said,"We're actually more alike than I thought"

If you don't understand what it was about, well... think harder. That's the kind of film RahXephon is^^.
Well, it took me months to finally finished this wallpaper cause I actually did 6 different version of this wall. But each one didn't really caught the concept.
The font used are Appendix3 taken from www.dafont.com

Omg i love this wall.
that was one of my favorite scenes in the series. Overall, you did a really nice job of capturing that moment in the anime. My only complaint would be the choice of font. I would have rather seen a more dramatic font from the serif familt. like trajan, even though it's used so often, is perfect for that kind of mood. It's a powerful font, but at the same time very very alone.
i wish it was formatted for my screen (1280x768 XP) so i could use it as my desktop. But even so, it's still worthy of a fav from me.

I remember that scene now. I really am going to have to get the second half of this series sometime. I sorta ran out of money to get anime halfway through...

Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised when I full-viewed this wallpaper. I expected a simple, pop art inspired picture of Ayato and Megumi. What I got though was some well blended background art as well. That's a great concept, almost like you are taking their thoughts and imposing them around them in the background. This is probably the first time I have given favorites twice in one day. Great job.

I like how this wallpaper is both very simple, but also quite complicated at the same time. I liked that scene too, and Megumi is probably my favorite character, so any wallpaper with her already gets a plus from me! And this one is very well done!

This is a lovely wallpaper. however, i dont really like the background art since you cannot see it all that well. maybe if it could show up a little more? anywayz, great job with the colors!

Excellent. Yes, I would say this even if it wasn't simply because RahXephon is my favorite anime of all time, but this still is excellent.

You went with a concept/image/whatever that hasn't been done with any other wall I've seen. Or if they exist, they ar epretty rare. So points on uniqueness. It's simple and to the point, no useless clutter to fill up the screen. Nothing stands out/distracts you to much. So one nauturally focus' on Kamina and Megumi. And probably best of all, you use Megumi. Everything out there is either Haruka(or Reika, its all kind of the same), Quon, Haruka, Ayato, or Haruka. Megumi doesn't get enough love, so it brings me joy to see a unique face. Finally, it does help that the image is full of so much emotion, and every time one (or at least I do) sees the wallpaper, one remembers this scene. Very touching. Thank you for making this.

Really I'm speechless about how well you did this. Most paper i look at is aimed at being beautiful and dramatic but this is so simple yet has such a potent effect. Really the show was great and this wall just speaks so much with those three words and that simple image. it's something that you captured very well because i remember all those ideas and feelings that were occurring at the time.

A++ you really did a good job on making more than a good wallpaper but something that captured a pure feeling. That's something to be unbelievably proud of.

OMG! RahXephon is one of my sacred series of all time. And I remember that scene. Great concept for a wallpaper with two character that are really very alike even when they aren't directly connect to each other. The episode 16 is very hard when Megu find out about Sou and Kim being together. Jeez that was really painful.
About the wall itself, well the main problem will be the text. I mean, I didn't realize that there was text till I see it in full view and is very weak. Maybe you want to make the picture more powerful than the text, but I think that it look better being more strong. Anyway, I like it a lot. RahXephon rulez! >:3 emoticon

I love this! Such a unique concept, and very well done at that... (although I would agree with Tuna-Power about the background images) Stark and simple, thus powerful. The silhouettes look beautiful.
What I also love with this wall is that not only did you capture a very special and moving moment in RahXephon, but that it also echoes another scene in episode 19, when Ayato and Hiroko are on the run and Hiroko has just found out she is a Mulian — it's the scene when they are on the street and he's asking what she wants to eat, and she's about to tell him she's a Mulian, but ultimately fails to do so... They stand against a wooden palissade showing the French flag, she in front of the blue stripe, he in front of the red one, depicting his integration in the human world while she feels totally alienated. It's like the antithesis of this scene between Ayato and Megumi.
Anyway, don't mind my rambling, all I wanted to say was thank you for this beautiful wall. :)
