This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

The oringinal scan is the cover of Gunslinger Girls Image Album "poca felicità"
I didn't notice this album before.
but when i knew that the composer of the album is REVO from Sound Horizon.
I started to listen the music from the album.
And it became one of my favourite albums. <3 emoticon

(well~I love all the music from Sound Horizon)

So I decided to make a wallpaper with the cover~
First, I have to think about what kind of background is suitable for the characters.
Yeah~it must be a grand place like a recital hall!
I go searching the stocks and photos and I didn't find one! ~(@_@)~ emoticon

Luckily, I have found a stock from shoofly-stock which have the atmosphere I want! P(T_T) emoticon

After I finished the combination of the background and characters,
I found that there is a space lefted on the left-hand side corner
So I made a speacial logo instead of only putting words and place it on the space.

At last, hope you enjoy the performance of the Gunslinger Girls! |(C_C)| emoticon

P.S. A new version is uploaded~(smaller logo) Hope it looks better than before~

It is very good effort of yours. The turnout of the wallpaper is pretty amazing and the clour combination is just to die for. A very beautiful piece that is almost like it has a life of its own.
My only (tiny) complain is the scans outlines...at some parts their somehow obvious that are extracted but other than this details, that is actually nothing compared to the whole piece, i am really thrilled by your work.

Wow, this is just... wow! The way you cleaned the stock and blended it in with the girls is very well done! They fit right into that background, at first glance I thought that was the album cover only cleaned up. Then I actually read, and I was amazed at what you did!

The only thing that bothers me is the logo, its so fancy, it turns my eyes away from the girls, I think if it was smaller it wouldn't be such a problem for me.

It's very beautiful; I really love those golden shades...But the logo on the bottom left is quite bothersome, considering that it is a wallpaper. It would have looked nicer if it'd been smaller or even if it'd been moved further down to the right; it seems to get in the way of the scene...But anyway, that's the only complaint I have. It's still an awesome piece. :)

This wall is really beautiful! The blending of the scan with the stock is just right. The golden tent on the stock image was an excellent choice. The whole wall has a regal and elegant aura to it. Wonderful work! +fav

Unbelievable! You have perfectly created the light ambiance of the ballroom looks realistic and make it like you're in the ballroom watching the girls from the Social Welfare performed. Only thing that bugs me that the ballroom BG looks a bit CG.
