After studying non-stop for almost three weeks, my finals are over ^^ I always wanted to make a Death Note but I admit that this the most frustrating wallpaper I've worked with yet (and thats why it's been rotting away my hard drive).

Cleaning the scan was a pain, at one point I thought of vectoring it but after much considerations I left it the way it was because I didn't want to lose the texture and highlights/shadows in the scan. I had so many ideas for the background but it was just difficult deciding how to approach it using this particular scan.

This is the results after much playing around and cleaning (oh my, there was tons of cleaning) I was going to use L but it seem more appropriate to have Mello and Near instead because

They're the ones who catches Kira--Second L--Light in the end though it's physically Near who catches him since Mello dies.

Simple, but nonetheless I'm quite happy with the results.
