It was a lovely scan to start out with ( see it here), however (and as usual) painfully covered in text. Also, it was ready to go as a widescreen wallpaper, but I needed to extend it on both sides and the top in order to make it fit for both resolutions. So I edited the characters to fit, and make them shiny. Then, since most of the text was on the background, I decided to re-create it. I made a few sheets of palm tree fronds and really just used them all over to create the trees that you see. That was the toughest part, the rest was the usual masking clouds and using masking and paint brushes to make a little beach :D
