Hi there! I 've just finished my final tests. And this is what i come up with after those hard working days. The scan is took from the manga Yakitate japan 1st volume ( Kawachi is one of my favorites).
It was not a very good scan so i cleaned up a bit then i colored the char by brush to make it looked like doodles but now it seems like water colors to me ^^
Then i added some floral and grunge brushes at the corner...filled the background with patterns, i used the blending mode quite a lot as well + took some advices from my Bf
this wall took me about 3 days to finish. I just wanted to celebrate a whole week free Hope you guys enjoy it and yes Christmas is coming !

Hooray xmas!

The wall is very nicely blended. However your choice of colors contrasts and bit too much too quickly, and kind of has an effect of forcing the eyes.

But definitely great work on the wall.

The style is very appealing with fantastic colors however when I'm looking at the character it does put a bit of strain on my eyes. I like what you did with him though, it's interesting and reminds me of my sketching days. The colors looks like a mixture of paint with heavy markers especially the shoes, I think that I would've enjoyed it more if it didn't appear so rushed. Anyway despite a few mishaps here and there I still think that you did a pretty decent job. It's a pleasant wallpaper!

I like the colours used as well as the brushes applied though i kinda filled that the floral brushes should not be applied to the character as well but maybe it would be best for him to be coloured in a different kind of pattern... (solid colour or a different kind of brush maybe?)
