As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Ye mouton knows all ;) I am still a newbie with vectoring programs. In my journal is the progess so far for my Inkscape and AI project. The main difference I noticed so far is that in AI the pentool is editable at all times, in IS it is a different tool

Ctrl is useful when you want to control the angle of the vector. Shift is for asymmetric vector. You can combine the two also. One more thing, if you start an other path while pressing shift and that a former path is selected, the two will combined.

I only use ctrl for zooming, backspace I knew because it is the same in PS and AI. The shift and enter I didn't know, those are useful. I ended a path using right mouse on my last node

Darkness in the wallpaper is really deep and calm. It is drawing his serious melancholy. Effects in lights do not wipe out darkness in the background. Two points in conflict are harmonized with each other.

Lovely dark green tones! Beautifully styled! I love the firefly like dots of light! That typography is really elegant! Nice to see such beautiful antialiased typography (overlooked a lot). Love the eye color too! Fantastic work as a whole! You've really got a style pinned down!

It's a great wall! It reminds me of a Picasso painted with a guy playing guitar...

Anyway, the only thing I can criticise is the alignment of the text. Having it on the left makes it hard for the eye to fall back on the character. I suggest moving it to the right side. :)

Found my new wallpaper ^^ Not only my desktop is so full of icons lately too but these Wei Liu scans are so awesome that I totally love them ^^
I really like it elfe-noire ^^ It's been sometime that I haven't been in AP and that I haven't seen one of your wallpapers ^^

I love the way you made the green light, it's perfect. Plus, great work on the title text too, I like the style you chose a lot! All in all, the wallpaper sets the mood for the character really well.
