Ohayo, minna-sama! This time my new wallpaper is from "Blame" series.

Wallpaper and scan:
Hmm... Kinda dark and strange wallpaper. Like an original "Blame" athmosphere, I hope. Oh well, then I saw artbook "Blame and so on" I fall in love. Really ^^
I combined three scans, two for background and scan of girl. After it, added some brush effects and textures. Kinda simple in description and hard in creation xD
She's a storm, yeah. She goes along the endless road. It's a sand storm behind her. And it's a blood around her. It's scenic wallpaper, but I tried to make it some abstract.

That's not too shabby. I like the idea and it looks pretty good but it's just too dark for my taste... The textures are cool and all just too dark... ^-^

Your wall looks very nice.
However, when I full previewed it, I noticed some major errors/missing features.
First off, I absolutely love how you associated the dark color with Blame...of course..
BUT, you either used too much black to block out the look of any other details..or you only used
one scan and continuously grunged it.
If you look closely, it looks you just painted the background black..added a scan, and then added grunge.
Because of that, it seems like there are no other details featured in the scan, such as a repaint
or anything, and it looks cut off with a bottom-left alignment. Get what I'm saying?

Other than those problems the wall's pretty good.

I don't see why that should matter even if that's how the wall was made. i think it turned out pretty good and that's all that really matters...i don't find it that dark, looks amazing on my desktop. i like that you got such a small scan to look so good. nice use of textures as well. awesome work! +fav ;)

Ah, this is exactly my type of wallpaper. An abstract scenery, with dark colors and a mysterious past. The upper part of this wallpaper is very dark, but makes this wallpaper more dim and interesting. I can relate to the character's emotions very well, because of the extra techniques added to express the feelings. What you said in your post was true and I can still see that the character's life is filled with sorrow, pain, and suffering (even without having to read your post). It has been a while since I've seen a wallpaper that I can connect my emotions with. Keep the work and effort up!

It's good, but does seem rather dark. Might want to adjust the levels or something to bring out the highlights just a bit more.

Did only i notice that in her hand she has a...ahem...male genitalia?Don't start calling me perverted cause i know for sure - i had the scan in the Bitch's Life artbook...
But it doesn't matter - i like the wall and all the effects(who seem to hide this little...thing XD) :D

I really like this wallpaper. The mood is well-set and is very fitting for the series. The signature at the bottom detracts from it, though. At any rate, nice job!

True, it is dark like the series, which is tite, i hate bright backgrounds, with only VERY few exceptions, but unlike the series, it isn't detailed, it lacks that sharpness of static characters (as opposed to blurred characters being shot/blown up/transported between realities/etc...). overall, an alright DL

Well, to be honest, what I get from this wallpaper is very different from what you were aiming at according to the description, that thing behind her is a storm ? I figured it to be a pillar of sorts, and frankly, I still do. I didn't like the idea of her being a storm, but this wall still does something to me but, like it usually is with Nihi's works, curse me if I know what exactly. Power. Resolve. Gloom. If to name a few.

Anyway, if to take your intentions into consideration, I guess I would say, if you want to have such a complex theme, don't have 85% of the key elements covered in darkness :).

Love it! It really does capture the Blame! theme of danger that really comes from anywhere, in this case it could be a mere child walking up to someone then turning out to be some huge killing machine. Love the sense of fear that this almost envokes, really nice!
