While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Hello! Today we have a My neighboors the Yamadas wallpaper, so please fullview (thumb looks crappy) and enjoy. This wallpaper have a rare feature: I like how it looks as a desktop.
I was soo bored this summer. I start this wallpaper in... oh. May be in may? or in june? Gosh, I cant even remember. So, I start it and (surprise!) leave, just cause it was bored idea (I thought that way). But, then I saw Vectorness group montly challenge I... may be I've got inspiration? Something like that. And I hope this one will be accepted as an entry.
Now about technical parts. I vectored this from the screenshoot from My neighboors the Yamadas and changed some parts. I tried to make soft, peaceful athmosphere and I hope ot looks like that ^^
Huh, I think it's all about this wallpaper. Please fullview, comment, etc.

P.S. Tomorroe is my birthday, so this wallpaper is my own present for me ^^

Simple but really beautiful.
Love the drawing of the bird and the tree.
You write that you want to make a soft, peaceful atmosphere and I think you capture the atmosphere percfect.
Looking at this wall makes my feeling calm down a bit (I'm really stressed at the moment) and I like to thank you for that.
I will add this as my back on my PC at work. So I can always look on it and fell the soft and peaceful atmosphere. Thanks a lot for this lovely done wall.

I agree; it is nice as a wallpaper (a lot of walls are pretty as pictures, but make for terrible desktops, and some are rather school/work/family inappropriate). I appreciate the simplicity of it; it's calming and soothing. The problem with a simple style, though, is that the pixels become more pronounced, and even though the outlines would look crisp if there was more going on in the wall, the simple style emphasizes the pixels of the lines (visible even with the 1600x1200 version on a 1920x1200 screen). However, until computer resolutions improve exponentially I don't think there's anything to be done about this. Oh well!

Lovely... it's very refreshing and it does look great as a desktop... I'd love to see this wall with a soft pastel/slightly more contrasty background color, but all in all, it looks fantastic ^^

A very good wallpaper, just wonderful. It does seem that the cloud in the left corner doesn't quite balance visually with the rest of the wallpaper somehow, but that could be easily fixed with a little experimentation if you wanted.

Wow hey there i like it, i really like has a very simple look to it. well your wallpapaer, mine, and kalico's are the only contenders as it stands lol. seriously there is some simplistic factor in this that just makes me wanna look at it. great work.
thing is maybe edit the color fills by adding a very light maybe cardboard texture or some other faint pattern.

Im in love with the artwork of ghibli studio... its simply beautiful and your wallpaper is beautiful too.
