Well.. this is my first time doing anime wallpaper... its Shana from Anime Shakugan no Shana, i use the stock from the scan section, use some imported brushes, some filters on the bg, trying to created ember effect around shana's hair, and some effect on the text, i just use the phase "Enpatsu Shakugan" coz it shows the identity of Shana... ^^

i hope that you guys like it alot ^^

Hm not bad, the abstract effects looks great, but it looks a little chaotic in my view. but otherwise the blending of the chara and the background fits nicely. so nice work overall ^^

The colors are very nicely done and gives a real mean fiery glow effect, but I find the background rather too busy. Also I think you could probably afford to move Shana up some more; as it is she only occupies about the bottom half of the wall. Or is that as far as you can get with the scan you have.

Anyways, a real good job on your first wallpaper! *pats back*

Awesome job with the background, the fiery colours really go with the scan, and it all blends together nicely.
