As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

Yep :) should be fun, when I first heard about the contest I was thinking it was taking a full color scan and vectoring it to a gray scale or something which sounds fun too :)

Not, hard really if you are comfortable in an application that can do vector graphics. For this contest I understand we have to pick a monochrome or black and white scan and then vector it with color, sadly nothing I am currently watching has any scans

I am glad you have attempted to capture the fiery eyes of Shana with this wall - and it's a superb job. There are enough representations of Shana as the ultimate lolita already.

Absolutely top notch. It was a great idea to concentrate all eye catching into the center. Also great brushwork.

Very dramatic! I like the colors, and the positioning. I'm not quite sure the slanted lines to the right go well with the rest of it though; I like that there's something there, but something curvier might be better.

Nice job!I hate to be rude, but it's a shame that you haven't changed anything since you posted to MT one. As I pointed out on there, a few things CAN be changed to make this into an even better desktop, but then again, that's only my opinion. but I have to say the way you used it is unique and probably the best. I love the multi-colored paint splashes and the brushes you used that looks like sprouts practically growing out from the image
