This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Ok first off a disclaimer: I HATED the Hundred Acre Woods in KH1 and 2. Especially Tigger, I was like IF YOU MAKE ME JUMP ACROSS STUMPS AGAIN! D: But it's impossible to not adore Pooh. And Piglet. And the rest. So yeah... long overdue wall to celebrate of successful completion of the games, although I really rushed through the end of the first and the whole of the second... I need to go back and replay the games for all the secret stuff x)

Outlines from this scan; CG/painted in PS CS2 with hard round brush, eraser, and mouse ( <3 emoticon

). Bit of nice colorful break from the dark monochrome-ish walls I've been making ^^ Sora color referenced this scan; Pooh, Piglet, and Tigger color referenced this (googled) image, and background color referenced this image. Crumpled paper texture from Stock.XCHNG... damn those torn pages! >XD

Loves to gids and Baka (via the tate proxy) for checks and suggests... and special thanks to tyrant tat0rs, for keeping me up almost all night and driving me like a slave... thanks bunches, I'm glad this wall is keeping you up in turn XD

I didn't really like Hundred Acre Wood in the Kingdom Hearts games either, there wasn't enough action for my taste. Well moving on to the wall, I think it is very well done. It looks to me like you were trying to go for that causual painting kinda look.

It's adorable! A favorite! It's too bad that the better the walls, the more I nitpick...

I think the crumpling can create either one of two emotions: melancholy or confusion. It's a nice effect, and it really adds to the wall visually. Unfortunately, when people take a closer look (which a lot of people will do since it's a really nice-to-look-at piece of artwork!), they find that the crumpling might take away from the happy words.
Then again, people can look even closer and realize that the characters are stepping OUT of the crumpling since the crumpling smooths out in the center...

Just kidding. XD It's a good wall. Don't change anything. <3 emoticon
