I have scans to make posters out of. Having a school with a $2000 printer is awesome, i have to pay for the Gloss PosterPaper and Ink but thats cheap. hmmmm i might make this wallpaper simple since i dont want to try anything to crazy.

Its a wall for Invalid litter department winter/christmas theme competition ;D
How i made the wall:
i fixed the lines of the scan first. I made her smile*, i cleaned the extraction, i made the background and the text.
NOTE: Do you wonder what i was saying i made her smile?
Actually, the scan was showing her with an open mouth but she looks sad on that reaction of her mouth, so because i entitled it winter christmas day, i changed her mouth postion, thus making her smile like that! :D
How i made the bg:
i made those snow with ---brushes XD its a secret PM me if you want but if you really are a good waller, you would easily know, please include in your comment here if you know what brush it is :)
i added snows
added snow flakes
added moon
added twinkles
added trees
added gradient
How about the text?
i just used some tool on gimp to make it look like that

hope everyoner likes it, though i know i would not win :l
i am just happy when i join contests :)

Hmm... this is really beautiful wall but i think her mouth a little weird, makes the girl's face funny
half happy and sad...
the snow and tree color are same so its litlle hard to diference it...
the moon, how bout put a light effect on it,
if only you made the sky with a darker mood, i think will makes the skies more beautiful..
but maybe it's just my taste...
the text really matched with the wall=D
btw, good job, keep it up^^

Very cute wall!I like the colours that you used,what can I say it's perfect for the winter!Well I must say that I cna't really distinguish the trees from the nsow but well it's an aniem wall so I'll say that anything is possible.A little light effect on the moon will be nice and the text of the wall fits with it but it seems a little bit blury from my point of view.Pretty good job,anyway!

Kyaa, this wall has such a pretty winter BG ^-^ Now if only the text on the wall could reflect that... this text is formatted strangely, and frankly, the font doesn't make me go "Wow! How wintery/ethereal! <3 emoticon

". A scriptier font and a different text format would've upped this wall's overall appearance.

First of all, i'm terribly sorry if i'm being harsh. OK, let's seee...
1.) There isn't any ground. You know.. she's like..floating. And in her pose, it looks riddiculous to float like that.
2.) I've seen the scan and i like how you make her smile. But you know..you need to fix it a little. Her lips look bit too uhh..short.
3.) The font's also. You see.. i feel bad for it. Did you add some kind of effects or something?
4.) The trees. You didn't vary the trees so it doesn't really look like exactly a forest..
5.) The last: Don't you think the moon's a bit..weird??

I like the way you used the brushes although I don't really know how to make it looks like that one of yours though ^^;
The effect is okay, many brushes but it doesn't seem to be crowded. Hope to see more from you next time ^^

I really kind of like it but...

But the trees are all the same.. Of course it's a brush but you know my taste for the details that change the brushes :)
The snow flakes are all the same and almost all same size... Or at least the bigger ones all look the same...
The font is fine but the movement effect you add is not the best you could use to make it fussy looking... And I think this font is a bit too simple for my taste but still fine with the wall.

Good work on the smile even if I still found her sad looking cause of her eyes... But that's life :D

The moon looks OK to me but I don't really get why it's there with all this light around...

For me you could still improve this wall but that's a nice attempt and guess it will make fine in the contest!

The background is very nice, the snow covers everything, but the ground is so bright, like it's covered in a steam cloud. The character is nice, with the rabbits around her, she fits to the the environment well. The title is good, nice wallpaper.

i really don't know why the moon is a bit weird? is it? i really don't know too much about winter cause here in our country..there are no winter seasons..
i can't think of any other font :(
yeah, about the trees...they kinda look bad a little, i can't do anything about that anyway :l
