Well this if the first wallpaper I've ever made. Actually I have made some other ones but that is when I first got Photoshop. This wallpaper is from a scan from Samurai Deeper Kyo. I saw it and wanted to try making a wallpaper out of it. I used some grass and cloud brushes to make the background. The text is a bit iffy. I couldn't find a good one to suit the image, but I kinda like this one. The scan wasn't amazing but I did my best to make it look decent. I'm not used to working with such a large size image. I don't know why I burned the edges but it looks okay. Well what does everyone think of my first wallpaper?

Wow very pinky. I like it looks good with the pink. It's the colour of love. I am guessing these two like eachother. Anyway I love the stock and the walllpaper is all around great.

I'm suprised I've got so many comments!! thanks a bunch! The text was by far the most difficult part. I couldn't find a good font that looked good with it. I have like 500 different fonts but none of them looked good. So I went with the bamboo looking font :/ But once again thanks for the comments!

Pink is a unique contrast to this wallpaper, i expect some other color would be a better match.

Yay! One of my favorite pair o' friends from SDK! XD For a first wallpaper, I'm impressed. I like the monochrome wheat, and I think the burned edges on Yukimura and Sasuke is perfect. Otherwise they would have blended in with the background and things would have been TOO flat (hard to work with 2-D object and not make things TOO flat, I think). You're right about the font being kinda iffy, but depending on how much time you spent searching already, maybe play around some more, or work with something that isn't so straight cut (that is, on a flat plane).
