This is a wallpaper that I made using a screenshot from the first blood+ opening theme. It is also made on my first day of using photoshop so advise would be great. It is very simple and plain but i find it effective. I look forward to progressing to creating some of the awesome works that i have found around this site.

Ya, it is very simple, but for a show like Blood+, I think the look you got works very well. Plus, being your first day using photoshop, it's not bad at all. what photoshop version are you using?

For a first try at photoshop... it's pretty nice... like what ~SoltyRei said, for the anime Blood+ the simplicity simply works fine... :) good work!

It's a cool idea and for your first time using PS you did a good job, but you could have made it easier to see Saya in the drop of blood. Also you could have made the blood look more realistic with a bit more shading and lighting. I love Blood+ and I think you've got a good idea for the show, but it just needs a little tweaking.

Thanks guys. I use Photoshop CS. I getting to hang of it now. working on a Cowboy Bebop wallpaper in progress, found in Session Zero. Blood+ is one of my favourites at the moment and at the time I had a busy wallpaper and thought how about a plain simple wallpaper with a cool centre so Blood+ came to mind. Anyway glad you liked it and I agree it could have been a bit better though I'm fairly limited in ability at the moment.

Sizzling! Love the effect, although the blood splatter could be a bit bigger-there‘s too much empty space.

My only real objection is the planet in the immediate background, which looks... wrong, somehow. The edge doesn't really look properly defined, I guess. Still, it looks wonderful. Another excellent wallpaper.

I thought that the wall paper would be better of the Blood + was moved to the right instead of being right under the blood

Simple, yet matches very well with the concept. The white and red, really contrast each other making the blood more vivid and standing out like. Also like how you used the blood plus logo, since I always thought it was cool in the show. Great job, and keep up the good work, hope to continue seeing more great pieces of your work. One of my favorite wallpapers of blood plus.
