Hi hi. :3

First wallpaper here. ^^ I've been on a Fruits Basket rampage lately. Fell in love with the characters in the anime, and then fell even deeper into the manga. Thus, after 20 some hours, this piece.

I was hoping to capture, what you would call, the essence of Fruits Basket. So a lot of work went into selecting the right images of the characters from the manga and where to place them. The coloring proved to be a little easier, but in its entirety, the revisions probably ate the most brain-food.

When I transfered the wallpaper onto my other computer, the colors were a nightmare, so I had to readjust to a compromise between the two versions. Hopefully, it shows up well on your screen.

I'm quite pleased with the overall layout and fluidity, but the text "fruits basket" bothers me a little. At first, it stood out too much, but now it's not so apparent. If I wasn't so dumb as to merge the layers before so much editing, then I would probably change the text entirely.

Nevertheless, plenty of heart blood flows through this wallpaper, so, from one Fruits Basket lover to another-- enjoy! ^^

Edit: Eh, since this couldn't make it into the gallery, constructive criticism is highly needed. ^^;; I know the some of the scan outlines are a little rough, so I'll try to fix those up. =_= Got too lazy before.

Edit edit: Okay. Lol. I decided not to be lazy and went back and cleaned the extractions up. ^^;; But that meant redoing the coloring. Eh. I don't know if I like it or not at the moment. ^^;; On my other computers, the colors are still horrendous. -_-; I give up.

Side note: The black spaces. I thought I'd explain. Since there are faces and bodies everywhere, for those with a surplus of icons, it will probably look like a tsunami tore through the wallpaper. Thus, the black spaces. ^^;
