I've got nothing to do during last Friday so I went to surf the net. I was looking for some scans to wall since I haven't used Photoshop for weeks and I miss it so badly. I found this scan at www.celestial-star.net's gallery. When I first laid my eyes on it, my senses urged me to wall it!

The extracting process took me four whole hours, since I have to start all over again because I didn't save it by accident. The background - I meant the sky - is not made by brushes, but by duplicating the scan repetively and by smudging it. That took me 5 hours because I kept on experimenting. And because there was a sudden blackout in my house, I have to start all over again, which took me 3 hours (glad i already saved the extracted scan by that time). Toning the lighting of the scan took me about 2 hours just to make it turn out exactly what I wanted it to be. It me took a lot of time thinking about the concept of the design (research for some brushes at Deviantart), as well.

Overall, I probably made this for 20 (the other 9 hours are for the finishing touches) hours. I worked on this wall for three days and I'm very glad it's finally done.
