Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Hmm:)
this wally is a gift to my boyfriend i cant see him so often..so it's little gesture
and yeah..it's not a busy wally...not full of effects and brushes...i only wanted to make a clear wally which he can use
the city is from a stockphoto, and the sky is non-realistic:D i know:) :P

time: an afternoon:D

the scan was from an image board...it was quite hard to extract it...because of the size...

I absolutely love the choice of colour. The character positioning is nice, though my usual preference is to the right, I think this one fits.

Very pretty, nice use of colors :) are the lights supposed to be stars or snow? maybe you should leave the ones that are on the buildings out of the wallpaper all together....

anyways, nice job overall!

Wow...as soon as I saw the setting of this I said "Just incredible!" The entire mood goes so well with Lucy, good use of color as well, and love the city and the Horse Nebula as well! Fantastic job this is definately a wall to put on my desktop!

Wow! I never did this, but: even though I actually already set a fav for today (I only set a fav once a day) - I can't stop and not set this to my fav. I really like the purple color and the way you put Lucy into the composition. I also like the way you edited the stock photo. Less is sometimes more and that's why a wallpaper full of effects isn't always the best one.
I hope your friend understands this gesture.. it is more than the time you took to create it... it's those feelings one has when doing that. Anyway: good work! and thanks for sharing it with us (at least with me :P) *favs it*

Although the BG is so unreal, how could it possible to have a planet behind the interstellar cloud, unless the planet is bigger than the entire galaxy =D, I like the colour and you effect very much. Good Job and Thanks for sharing!
