Amid all my horrible projects and schoolwork, I shall attempt submission of one of my older walls.

I love Kingdom Hearts, strangely Re:CoM ranks as my favourite, even though it's a more low-brow release and Marluxia was slaughtering me at the end...

This wallpaper was based on something Marluxia said to Namine, along the lines of "your hero is coming" or something like that, I can't really remember (sadly) and I don't have time to check. And Marluxia uses flowers (!) so here is the Princess of Rose, waiting for her hero to come.

The inspiration also came from the game Rule of Rose, one with a lovely story but clumsy gameplay :( The rose, butterfly and bird and parts of the thorns were vectored from the game cover, and the thorns extended and leaves added in by myself. The thorns were vectored unevenly on purpose anyway, I thought it gave the wall a better effect. I put Riku at the side because that's where the WIndows sidebar is and I don't want to block anyone else... Doesn't help that Riku isn't a very favourite character of mine .......

Namine is the only one in colour because she's the only one who knows what is happening and is fully aware of her actions. The others (Sora esp, hahahaha) are like...stumbling in the dark. Especially poor Kairi, who doesn't even know anything and won't ever find out. Oh yes I couldn't really vector in Namine properly because my scan was really small...even though I feel that her lack of detail actually looks fine but do comment if you think otherwise (but don't say anything about her eye, I tried to do it properly and it looked like she was squinting/frowning, so I left it as it is).
