The starfield is nice and the scan is crisp and clean. Not too fond of the orange colour of the scan, but it's ok...The planet/sun though looks kind of fake. Try following a tutorial to make a more realistic planet (lots of resources listed under the forum section^^)

Ok for a first wallpaper. I'd suggest submitting walls to Session Zero first (I usually do!) and getting comments to improve on. Keep at it!

The sun, is that the sun?, seems very orange, blurry, and 2D. is there any way you can make it seem more 'there'? ..sorry, having a hard time expressing myself today. anyway, the colors you used seem to be either blue or orange. i suggest the use of more intermediate colors to balance out the two.
