This was my first time using a 3d program. I didn´t like how it turned out but I think is not that bad for being a first time.

Great work on your first 3d work. What bothers me is that the tree and ball cast a shadow while it looks like the characters don't.

3d work is very nicely done for a first time, but i think its a big mistake to ever mix 3d renderation with anime cellshade work.

My first thought was 'Is it perhaps a stock photo?' but after I read your description I know that it is not a stock photo.
I think it looks quite good and because I am not familiar with 3D working I cannot tell how good it is but for me it looks good. It is quite perfect except the water coming onto the beach (it is too regular). And, shadows of characters are missing. But other than that it is well made.
Which programm did you use? I want to try that out too.

Erm the 3d background was a good attempt but it doesnt look nice with the scan as a whole... hee thats my opinion hm

I don't think the cg'ed background and anime image work particularly well together :/, but then I think that in general rather than specifically about this wall. The shadows do need some sorting out as they don't match between the two elements.

The beach in the BG looks a bit plain, and the palm tree's shadow is not cast on the girls..other than that it's a nice concept, but very plain.

Not a bad first effort at all. Yuki and Katsumi look great in their bikinis. The rendering of the 3D background looks quite good, although the trees in the background are a little too uniform. But otherwise, I like it.

No, it's not bad for a first time. You included Yuki, and therefore it is a plus :D
Try playing arounnd with the 3-D effect more, or use it as a base to paint over if you have access to a photoshop program or something similiar. It looks good for a beginner background, but with some refinements it could look soo much better.
Just thought I'd toss that out there.
