Thanks to NekoiEchizen and kamuinoyume for the scans for this wallpaper. =)

This is my first wallpaper for AnimePaper, and I got the idea for it after seeing the scan that NekoiEchizen had posted. Normally I'm a fan of more blended backgrounds, but the colors in the scan were so clear that I decided to keep the background more or less basic. I originally had more colors planned for the wallpaper, but after some experimentation, the three main colors (blue, orange, and red) ended up looking the best. I purposely kept the left side of the wallpaper somewhat empty so that desktop icons don't cover anything up (Unless you have a lot of them, I suppose). The main image is flipped because I figured it'd be easier to reconstruct Kyon's arm (it was covered by the Suzumiya logo) than to draw the rest of Mikuru's maid outfit.

Anyway, I'm not a huge fan of the series, but I really like the way this wallpaper turned out. Time spent: a couple hours (I wasn't keeping track).

EDIT: (4/11) The original resolutions for this wallpaper were awful, so I reuploaded it so the size is more user-friendly.

I think the background is unique from many things I have seen so far. It looks like a fan's web site where one can choose to read more details about a character by clicking on their mugshot or text.

Great choosen colors and excellent job. Really the only problem is resolution, but for me is good, because i use 1024x768 XD

Very nice, I really like the background bit with the character's images and the little text about each of them. ^_^ I really wish this wallpaper was available in a larger size though! :) Definitely one of my favorites even so. ^_^
