I wanted to try a line vector this time.

I chose Aya from Tenjou Tenge. The original scan can be found here. I wanted to try a wallpaper with a close up portrait of the character instead of a full body view.

It took some time to brush the wall. I tried to spread out and even the light/darker coloring. I tried to make the wallpaper texture look cloudy but abstract at the same time. Some faint red was added to Aya make it look like smudged blood. One thing I enjoyed doing was making a red texture on the black parts of the wallpaper. To me, it gives a feeling of hostility even though the orange parts of the wallpaper seem peaceful.
