Finally! The wallpaper is done. At the rate I started at the wallpaper should have been released over a month ago. Then I got lazy once I hit coloring then put it off for 3+ weeks until I came back to it. Slowly finished it off in about a week when I started working on it again.

I always wanted to do a Pandora Hearts wall. When I browsed the gallery I saw this scan and loved it. You can't go wrong with a pile of skulls. I was also wondering where all the Xerxes Break walls were at...
I chose the name Golgotha because I couldn't think of any other fitting name. Mainly because it means "place of the skull." While there are skull s, I felt the pile of skulls made the hill. The hat also has barbs around it to put more significance towards the title. As ***** had a crown of thorns. The sword could very much well represent the "cross" on the hill. Although there are these symbols, I do not attribute Break to any symbol since I do not know much about his character beyond the horribly animated anime.
The wall was done in the usual vector and gradients. The combination of hard edge vector masks combined with gradients makes a really nice effect. He's suppose to be in an underground cavern with light shinning through holes and cracks. It was too plain with just water and decided to add some vines with thorns. I liked how they turned out. I would have added more but I felt it would overwhelm the wallpaper.
If description was tldr, too bad, no short version! I did an alternate crop of 1600x1200 by cropping to the right to include the foreground vine which I thought it was attractive composition-wise overall.
1600x1200 (alternate)

P.S.
I know the cape redraw blows. No need to comment on it. ;_;
