I made this wall a while back :) .
After searching for hours for a scan that was simply beautiful I came upon this and immediately had the urge to wall it. Usually, I'm not one to include the nudists in my works, but this scan was done in a tasteful manner and I felt it showed off the female form quite nicely without being too fanservice or icky. Or maybe it doesn't bother me becuase I'm female and see that everyday XD .
Anyway, I decided to put her in a misty environment bathing in a lake in bamboo-like forest. This wall was an experiment of me trying to master fog and light particles effects. As you can see, small light particles are trickling in from the foilage of the forest above and reflecting in the water. Mist is also rising up in the background meeting those light particles to form a nice little effect. I tried not to make the background too clear or else it would take away from the girl ... much as you have seen in movies, the BG is not the main focus, but what is closest to it is.
I also had to try and reproduce the water effect that was apparent in the reflection of the girl. I feel that went quite nicely and added more light relfecting in the water. I then added more details with the fog. Something seemed missing and being the perfectionist I am came upon that it was lilies. So after creating lilies by way of photo-manip, it gave the wall more balance. I then worked on the finer details of the background. I named it "Lady of the Lily' becuase it reminded me of the King Arthur story involving the lady of the lake - but this isn't a fairytale and I like lilies and it matched quite nicely. Meh, I think you get the point - it was a whole lot of work.
