Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Very good work for a first submission ;-)
The scenery is very impressive and fits very well with the character raiding a horse.
May be the brushes are a little bit too messy.

Very good submission for a first try ! The colors are very good with this opposition between blue in the background and yellow in the foreground. Nice brush effect for the magical side of the castle. Good idea. Also, good job on the clouds and the mist. Well, surely, Zelda will be very happy of the result !

Very nice. The large amount of clouds and sharpness of them makes the imagery seem powerful. Unfortunately I don't sharp clouds but thats just me ^^;. Good job.

This one of the better Zelda wallpapers that I've seen in quite some time ^_^ Link fits nicely in with the background, and the style of the castle works well- not too realistic, but not too cg either. I know sometimes people are afraid to make sharper looking clouds, but they really helped pull the overall style together with that of the scan. I personally would have liked it a little bit better without so many fractals, but they still fit with the wallpaper (just my personal taste on that part). And the light around Link's sword looks awesome <3 emoticon Nice work!

Fantastic work here!

The colors and all the elements are all put together wonderfully here. Some part of the castle look a bit under-textured (lending a couple walls a sort of plastic feel) but otherwise it's completely awesome!

Wow, you really made a epic wallpaper here. The castle fit the back ground, I like how you put link in this wall paper. This pic bring back many memories for me. You should really keep doing Zelda wallpapers man. I think this is the best one out there right now.

This wallpaper truly does have an epic feel to it (darn, did somebody beat me to saying that already?). I was thinking that though from the first moment I looked at this wall.

The clouds are amazing. The after-image of the castle and the fractals are totally funky, and somehow manage to look great. And before seeing this wall I would have said there was no way you could mix ice blue with dark brown and come out with a balanced, natural-feeling wallpaper. And of course, Zelda's sword is just plain awesome.

If I could somehow rate this, I would give it top grades. Of course its an automatic favorite. Congratulations for such a great job, and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing some more submissions from you!

The blending is pretty bad. The brown clashes with the purple and barely blends into it. I'm rather surprised this is in the gallery... And disappointed... -___-

I like it although i think that a lot of improvement can be done. So as the castle on the left can get more depth and the figure on the right get more weight.

One word: AEWSOME!

I can see some places around Epona that could use some more blending with the clouds, but that really doesn't take away from the fact that this is an awesome paper!
