time: 6hr (85% on vector)
comments: a wallpaper featuring a premium vector image of the character ryouko asakura from the anime series "the melancholy of haruhi suzumiya". i made the vector image, the abstract, and font with adobe photoshop cs2. i'de also like to point out that this was my first vector image, so i hope everyone likes it!

* EDIT*
So the background really doesn't work x_x.. I Changed background to blue, but instead of revamping the whole paper we'll just leave it how it is and I'll get better :D

Well the character is blue and the backround in red, it's too différent to me, i think a different backround will be nice.

The vector job is pretty good! some of the lines look funny to me but that's just me. anyway, not sure how the bg goes together with the character though...is there a relation here I'm not seeing? anyway, hope to see more.

There's been quite alot of The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya wallpapers recently -.- This is your first time at vectoring! O.o You're better than me..;P The background seems a little 'out of place' but I guess this vector is pretty tricky to work with ;) Nice work though!

Well.. the abstract is pretty well made.. ^_^
the Ryouko is cute too! ^_^
though i think it would be cuter is the background colours are much lighter.. ^_^
still, the simplicity of the picture and the artistic background makes the wallpaper beautiful as well.. ^_^

The vector is great, you did a good job on that but... The background isn't flowing together right with the character. I mean you got the concept but guess it didn't go together right.

Definately glad to finally see a wallpaper of one of my favorite characters from the series, lol. I always kinda figured that a lot of wallpapers of her would be of her in that pleading pose.
As mentioned earlied though, the background does clash in a way with the stock. . but other than that, it really looks quite good.

I seen the first version and it was quite off with the background, but you improved it by putting the right colouring to the background, which is quite matching now. I think it's already a fave, if not, I'll add it.

You guys are just plain crapped up in the head man..... C-? CAN YOU DO BETTER? If you can ill shut my mouth ^___^ BUT wallpaper looks alright... I always did think this character was a tad cute T____T BUT NO ONE IS BETTER THAN HARUHI... Anything I like it... its perfect for people like me who like a cute anime girl on a wallpaper but some cool looking stuff in the background...
