Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

Well, it has been a while since I last submitted a wallpaper...
This is my 2nd work and it is, in my opinion, completely different from my first one...well, except the character it features.
I wanted to make a simple wallpaper and so I came up with the idea of a chibi character, since they are generally more simple than normal ones :)
While seraching the web I found this image, scetched it so it would fit my liking and then started to vector.
Took about 6 hours of work in photoshop (mainly because the vector is also my second attempt), so I hope you like it !

So cute ^^. The vector was done quite well. I think the eyes were an improvement to the ones in the scan. Good choice in sharp colours too. I think I will use this.

Good title for the wallpaper and really good quality looks like you got it a scaned love the colors that match it and the background maybe add a little more but still good and like the pose really thinking =).

Haruhi's Face in This Wallpaper is Filled with 'Innocent Thinking' - Curiosity. I Think Curiosity is Her Essencial Character with Confidence.
Composition of Water Rings in Orange Colors are Stable and Natural. They Provide Her with Center Position as a Starring and Commander of Her SOS Brigade.
White Printings in Orange Background are Very Impressive. They May be Archimedes' Signs 'Ureka' for Mysteries She Wants to Found. She Still Does not Know They are Aleady Near Arround Her.
Portion of Her Exaggerated Face and Simple Body is Unique and Interesting. Their Combination Improve Her Own Personality.

Nice and funny wallpaper.
The vector of Haruhi is well done and wise chosen.

The background looks a bit plain and could use some work (with some highlights) but overall a good and solid wall.

Cute wall.
Your vector work is great and I love Haruhi's expression.
The background is really simple but it gives a clean feeling
and it works well with the vector's style.
The only thing which I don't like is her shadow...

'innocent thinking' in the middle of a splash of white liquid..

hmm.. maybe my thoughts are very innapropriate, but i feel something is wrong with that combination of text and image.. especially with my beloved haruhi right next to it ;o
