Not too much for me to say about this wallpaper that hasn't already been said: Dalarty has provided a descriptive walk through all the way from the concept idea, to its execution and ultimately its fruition. And you can really see how that careful planning paid off. But it just goes to show, good ideas take time---and a whole lot of patience!

This wallpaper is a month in the making and still not finished it needs something more in the background So I'm open to suggestions from anyone on how to improve on this wall.

The Idea for this wall came from the Game "Guitar Hero" On PS3, XB-360

Character
I have Chosen Haruhi Suzumiya playing her guitar and that's when I decided to make this wall.

If anyone has any Ideas I'd appreciate the help.

For this wall to work I took a screenshot from the hit game
"Guitar Hero: Legends of Rock" for reference, from that I made my own version freehand, which some of you can see it is deliberatly different from the original style for my own impression.

Anyway I hope You all like my latest wall so far

Artistically, a very sound piece of work. What irks me slightly is the perspective. Some parts right next to each other, like the two red dots, don't seem to match the "guitar hero" perspective at all. Other than that, it's great.

You no I can't really see anything wrong with this wallpaper it's bright and full of life and color cool game to go with it so you can actually see yourself playing the game when you look at this wall, the resolution is perfect and i think it's cute and something I haven't seen before really great I like it. 8)E emoticon

I know you pmed me asking for help on this wall, and I apologize I was unable to get back to you. I don't have much time lately, so I'm not on AP a whole lot. I just want to let you know I wasn't trying to ignore you, I just have not been around.
Anyway, I think you did a good job for what you were trying to achieve. I have a couple suggestions though. The colors themselves are kind of muddy. I would have gone with truer hues of color. It would have been a bit brighter, and suited Haruhi a bit more.
The other thing is that the guitar thingey should be at a bit harsher perspective if i remember guitar hero correctly. It's been months since I played so I'm not too sure.
Anyways, overall, nice job. the concept is cute, although not something I'd use on my desktop. Thats mainly because I like me some bishies, and Haruhi is not a bishie.
Adorable idea though.

I think Kalico said everything, so I can just say that this is a good wall. Combining Haruhi with Guitar Hero, a little crazy idea, but why not. Finally something uncommon.

I wonder if it would actually be possible to mod the PC version of GHi to do what you just did in the wallpaper. I'd buy the PC version just do that.

I bit too chaotic. There's much going on in the wall, the pink color is IMO overdone and annoying, since it's so bright and everywhere. However, it's a very original idea and I haven't seen something like that on AP for quite a long time. If you worked more on the wall, the final result would be wonderful.

Hmm, game in a wallpaper! Very nice idea!
The background looks very flashy and I love the gadgets that you put in the wallpaper (makes it look cool) but to my opinion, this wallpaper lost a lot of what it would haven't because of those gadgets (since it took away the attention from Haruhi, and made the entire wallpaper seem very busy)
So my suggestion to you is to take some gadgets away (because that will give the attention back to Haruhi) and try to make Haruhi more of a 'focus' in the wallpaper by taking the pink away
You have potential, but you take it a bit off-track at times (including in this wallpaper) make some more wallpapers and look at others wallpaper will help you improve
Keep it up (but unfortunately, not going to favourites or download)
