It has been like literally a year since I've submitted something! D8
University and work have had me tied up for a while, haha. I'm not dead though.

I decided to make a Mikuru wallpaper because she's my boyfriend's favorite character from Suzumiya Haruhi. I photoshopped Mikuru's head from an anime scan onto her frog suit from a scan of one of the manga covers, and vectored it all so in pink and green so it looked like a watermelon. It's just something I felt like doing, I really want to experiment with a lot of bright colors.

I also used some burning and dodging to make the colors less monotone. This one took about 4 hours and 50 odd layers.
