NHK Waalll. Loved NHK and I saw this scan a long time ago and decided then I should, some day, make a wall out of it.
The scan's from a friend, and the rest is history, or something like it anyways.
I vectored everything, besides the clouds and sky.
Maan, those buildings were a pain in the a2s34s, but since I enjoy vectoring and I had some spare time, I figured it would turn out better :).
So it did. The scan was awful.
I painted the sky from some stock image. That was a lot to do also, but it was quite refreshing to do something else from vectoring :D.
So this is the outcome, I hope you like it :)
I really like the result, and the colours remind me of a warm summer day. The only thing that could have been experimented with, is the colour of the buildings in the background; since they are as clear and as saturated as the main characters, when they overlap, the legs kind of blend in. Maybe some blue haze over the buildings to give the illusion of depth could have worked [a coloured layer of some sort]. Nevertheless, the wallpaper looks great, thanks for sharing, +fav.
