First things first, please full-view this wall in order to see everything in it. There are a lot of small pictures, especially in the glass shards. Thanks. ^_^
On to business:
Lately I've been in a bit of a downhill slide in my graphics so I went around consulting my internet and r/l friends as to how I could get out of this. They suggested I go back to something I was more comfortable with which is Trigun walls. After searching around I found a scan by turk187 and came up with the idea for this wall.
Let's just say, this wall and I don't like each other at all. From the very beginning this wall was a challenge to make. The scan wasn't in the best condition so I had to spend some time reparing and vectoring it. The brick background wasn't very hard to make and only took about an hour, but the window is an entirely different story.
I always had the idea for a broken window of some kind in the wall until I got the idea of flying glass shards with the faces of Vash's enemies reflected in them. At first everything was going smoothly until I realized that the lighting was off and some glass shards looked like they came from a different window. I re-did the shards about five different times over the course of many days to try to get them to look the way I wanted it too.
The hand-painted sillouette of Vash outside the window was a last minute idea. At first I was going to have Legato shooting at Vash before I decided that it would be more interesting to have Vash shooting at himself. Vash is a guy that seems to have two different personalities which was fun to bring into this wall. The sandstorm outside the window was the final touch which was pretty easy and made by manipulating a few brushes.
Second Trigun wall I've submitted to this site, hope you guys like it as much as the first one.
