I'm pretty proud of that one. I think it's the first time I wall a in door scene.
The scan was so cool I had to wall it :D
Since I didn't put much time on the cleaning and extraction of the scan, I put more effort in the background then ever. I tried a lot of thing and had fun creating new brushes on my own in Photoshop.
I painted almost everything except the design on the door.
I didn't put any text on the wall, I just feel it wasn't appropriated.
A bloody creepy wall... Hope you'll like it XD

Wow. I like the background and the character both. Everything blends and nothing's distracting. The light ray is a good added touch, but I think it should be less wide. An entrance for light in such a place would definately be small and the rays wouldn't spread out so much. The blood is awesome. It gives off a mindset. The way the overall lighting was done is just ok because the background should be darker than the foreground-- remember setting. Corners in such a place would be even darker. In simple terms: it's not exactly dark enough, but it works.

:D Awesome job with the background, and successfully creating a creepy atmosphere... like MC said the perspective seems a bit off and the shading for the wall that the character is leaning behind seems kind of off as well, maybe because it seems very thick. But yah... love the dark ambiance, and the lighting is really nicely done :)

Wow, you didn't chose an easy scan to wall to begin with and the result is pretty amazing, from the redrawn parts to the background itself. Everything stand as a whole and that's nice to see!

I saw it on the random wallpaper corner and can't stop myself from
complimenting this wallpaper. Though it will be better if there's a little title
beside him, where the blank background lays. Nevertheless, this
wallpaper caught my eye, it represent red in "red".
Maybe I've been thinking too much, but red means war... bravery
and etc. Thus as we can see in this wallpaper. Nothing else could
be added, in my opinion, as I saw it as a nearly perfect wallpaper..
A little tweak and it'll be perfect. I do hope the scan was not blurred.
Other than that, a great wallpaper. Good job!

When I saw this scan like 6 months ago I REALLY wanted to make a wallpaper out of it! Now it seems you had gotten the head start! XD I had never thought of doing to it what you have done with it, I like it better! ^_^ I REALLY LOVE the background! It is uber hot! It has this dangerous victorian home feel to it. Definatly a favorite!
