As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

Can be kinda annoying when you have to take care of a lot of things all day long... but the referees were good and the discussions were interesting. I don't rly want to stay into politics though... not entirely my cup of tea

This wallpaper took me about an hour to finish. I played around with lighting, textures and color settings and I think I managed to do it without messing things up too much...
I duplicated the scan once and mirrored it (+ erased) and stuff so I could cover the "Touka Gettan" logo and also fill up the whole wallpaper with the girl and flowers. ^^;

I merged 3 different images together to make a background, all of them from imageboards.

Texture was made by unanalyzed @ livejournal.com.

Render was made by Omnidevil, so credits goes to him too!

I'm first! ^^ A great wallpaper for your first one...the colours suit together nicely, and the texture look great! I particularly like the moon at the back, but why does the flower become transparent on the left side? o.o

Other than that, this wall rocks! Great job!

The background is looking really good, but it looks a bit crowded with the small space for the sky, and the character looks bigger than it could be as well. She looks good though, fits to the background. Nice wallpaper.

First off, it's not my first wallpaper. >.>
Second off, well the left side of the wallpaper is a duplication of everything except the flowers and I had to erase some parts and during that process the other flowers got a little bit transparent. ^^;

Very beautifully! The girl with colors well cooperates with a back background. All сделанно in one color scale. The truth with is left one of colors - buds, disappears... Probably it have casually erased not up to the end, and it is possible and it has been conceived to open a back background. Whether then was more true than it to erase completely? Or to make some florets and in other places smoothly disappearing for steadiness.

I love how the flowers blend in with the midnight sky and how the girls beautiful hair blends in with the flowers, the textures are also very nice and the lighting just makes the girls face glow, it's very radiant and bright with soft details to show off the work put in to the wall it self. Oh my god, I'm expressing myself!

Anyway, that's a good one. The scan is well edited, and it all feels nicely. However, I think more work on the colors could be useful. The colors are not bad, but it just feels like it can be improved. Also, I wish you could have made it look more "natural" if you know what I mean. Either way, good wallpaper. Don't let my comment upset ya, use it for your own good ;)

Hello, Jinzhou! Pardon me for my apparent weakness in art appreciation, so I'll just kinda describe my impression of your piece...

The wings effects (looks like wings of light...) are something. I feel that they're not that angelic, there is a bit of animosity that I sense from them, but since the chara seems so at peace with her "transfiguration/transformation", I guess that she does not feel threatened by this change... though this might be just the start of some horrible change?

the saints around her, I suppose, make this sprouting-of-wings change appear divinely-instilled or heavenly. But the saints' color is muted grey-green, so it might signify oldness, something ancient, a deep-little-told secret, something not so holy after all. Not to offend the religious among us, but there is a sad truth that there are hideous and apparently-immoral acts that have been done in the name of sainthood or godliness...

all in all, that's my impressions of your wall. great job!!

Awesome job with this wall. I setting is perfect, and the moon in the background creates a much deeper atmosphere with this wall. Combine th moon with the flowers and you have a created a wall that has it's own feel to it with these additions. You did a great job with this wall overall. Great color choices, nice setup (very organized and clean, doesn't look like stuff was added just for the heck of making it look better/clustered), and overall it has it's own original feel to it.
