Hi, everybody!

I made this TRC wall for a friend^^

I took the scan from http://www.aethereality.net Then I made the vector in Illustrator (and I’m very proud of it!^^haha) It was really hard to finish it specially the hair and her dress! Finally I painted it in Photoshop CS 3 with digital tablet:3

The colours: well, the original picture had a rose-pink tone which was beautiful but I decided to change it because I got tired of it. So I chose green. I think it’s better this colour because it creates both a pleasant and a peaceful atmosphere. It’s really harmonic. Hope you like it^_^, but I can submit to the site other versions with different colours it you want. Please, let me know n_n

The flowers: I took a photo of a sort of jewel case I have and then I vectored the flowers. They were pink but I painted them light green.

Sakura’s dress: the texture I used on her dress is actually a photograph I took of a shirt I have^^ and I changed the colour.

The background: the texture I used on it was taken from http://www.desktopanime.com

Time: one month

Layers: too many!! (I forgot to count them:3 I think I worked with approximately 80 layers)

What a beautiful wall! It's well laid-out and the colours are vibrant and fitting. The vector work is skillfully executed, and makes a nice contrast to the texture. I like the pattern you used for her dress, it fits with the background texture.

The caps/lowercase switchings are distracting to me. Is there a textless version available? That would be awesome.

Say, it looks like you did an amazing job! I am wondering though, would you be so kind as to provide a link to a no-text version? I think that, though the color/size/shape of the text balances with the rest of the wall, there is a fair amount of it, and it would be neat to compare a textless version with what you have now. Anyways, just my two cents. The rest appears to be very well done indeed; the quality of the hair vector is self-evident of the time you spent creating it, well done.

What a lovely vector! It's unique! I'm glad to see another wallpaper from you, Yaolin-chan. :3 The textures you used work nicely, too...I just love it! I like the text, but I agree that the alternating caps are kind of distracting. I'm sure you wanted to do that to make it stand out though, right? I like the idea...I'm just not sure if it matches with the theme of this wall. Still, I adore this. You're definitely improving. .(n_n). emoticon

This is really spectacular. The contrast between the light and blue of the morning sky is amazing, and the idea of putting the sun at the end of her staff was a stroke of genius. Honestly, I can't tell you how impressed I am, and that's not empty flattery. This is prolly in the top three wallpapers I've ever seen here at MT. Keep it up!

It's really beautiful :D
I love the petals too, but I think the words next to Sakura seem a bit strange, since wallpapers don't really have that much word in it.
Maybe next time, you can put some brushes on the right side.

Wow Melty looks so cool in your wall! It's really cool the way how she is standing on that rock/mountain.

The sky is so well done and the scan is well clean.Also the scan matches perfectly your wall.

but i agree with csquared2, i think that a textless wallpaper would be better, but i think that it would be better not just for the harmony, but for the functionallity of the wall... you know... space for icons ^^
