It all started when I read Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle manga. There's this one scene where Sakura dragged Syaoran up a ruin so that she can show him a surprise. Seeing Syaoran never smiled before, Sakura hoped he would smile by showing him the sight of white birds flying together in a flock. At this, Syaoran held Sakura's hands and smiled. Sakura was excited, seeing a smile on Syaoran's face for the first time.
Okay, enough babbling. The scan from the manga was actually not clean. And I do mean it. I had to go through the trouble of cleaning the WHOLE scan, then colour it myself, applying tones and shadows, blurring the birds here and there, creating the sky, then making the ray of light (which took me ages to complete; I'm an old man now) and some other things. The wall took me roughly 4 days to finish. At first I wanted to vector the scan, but I don't know how to. I think the wall migt looked better if I vector the thing. (gotta learn how to vector. I'm still a newbie!)
Here's the original scan. See for yourselves how bad it is.

I dedicate this wallpaper for my mom, who has been living a 'sad' life for my 'happy' life. Thank you mom. You are always there in my prayers. I hope you can always smile no matter how blue the world is.
When I see this wallpaper, I feel somewhat calm and happy, even though the feelings are not that strong. I hope you guys feel happy and can smile when you look at this wallpaper.
This 2nd wallpaper of mine here might need some improvement. Please give your best comment. I may improve this wall in the future. So if you want my 'improved' wall later on, PM me. I'll send a notification to you then. Thanks again.
