Well, I am playing to much WoW .. Used this chara of UtaKata because she looks like a hunter (indian style like the tauren too). Got inspiration from the game for the magic around the chara like a level-up :D. Enjoy my frist wallpaper art of the new year 2006.

Hm...character looks great, although the bg could be done better. the light ring effect could be done better too, looks abit hard now. hm...the bg quality isn't something I aspect from you, you can done better for the bg, ow well..keep it up =)

I like the bright character with the dark suroundings and the layout does kind of remind me of a game setting. The only minor issue is that due to the magic ring being the only light source, the lighting on the character doesn't quite match up, but that is easily overlooked (kind of hard to control a scan's lighting/shadows to exactly match a concept). Lovely wall. +Fav

Nice wall paper. haha play lot of WoW too. yeah that takes up lots of time. anyways great idea and nice background. could have been more interesting in the back if you had wanted to make it, but i guess tha ti what you were going for. love the lvling up idea you came up with and very very cute pic you found. very nice

Well the wallpaper is not bad - in fact it is even quite good. However - I don't like the wind/polar coordinates effect on the aura of that ring around her. Maybe it would have been a better idea to distort it some more. Anyway - other than that - it is a nice wallpaper. Good work.

Hopefully I don't sound mean, but this certainly isn't your best. ^_^; The extraction needs a lot of work (it looks like you used the magic wand, but I don't want to assume), the tree on the right side looks a little bit odd on that slab of land, and the scan could use some lighting effects. Also, the rays of light at the bottom of the ring look chopped off, although this isn't anything the eraser tool can't fix.

It's a wonderful idea. I don't know if you still plan to improve this, but knowing you and your skills, there is a lot more you can do to make this look flawless. :3
