I thought the lyrics were really suitable for the concept I wanted to show.

Vector

I made Sakura’s vector in Illustrator from this screenshot. Then I painted in Photoshop (as usual :3). At the beginning I wanted to make a simple vector but I guess I can’t help making vectors/wallpapers with lots of details…I just love details! (you’ll see that both Sakura’s ribbon and dress were painted with tiny circles done with a soft brush).

Wings

I didn’t like the wings from the original scan so I drew it myself using this image as a reference and also following the steps of this great angel wing tutorial. I didn’t paint Sakura’s wings white simply because in most cases angel wings are that colour and I wanted to use dark tones this time.

Background

It’s a combination of two photographs of my own stock

Sky
Snow

(Yep, I have used the snow photograph before in another wall I made –it was ‘The vanishing’-)

Plus a third layer with a starry sky I made in Photoshop.

I would have loved to add some ‘Forgiven’ lyrics in the background but I tried and it looked overloaded!

I think you did a wonderful work with the screenshot, the wings looks very realistic and the dress is nice, but the BG seems a bit out of place for me cause the perspective is strange 9(>_>) emoticon

Amazing :o
It looks like a watercolour painting.
The gloomie skies really goes well with the dark environment.
You could possibly make the bg blend in more with the scan,
cuz the perspective makes it look fake-ish.

Ooh wow this wall just proves that i'm right in never passing judgment on a wall until i've fullviewed it. i think the painting is quite awesome. i'm just slightly bothered by the way you painted the hair and the skin, it makes it look too textures --;. and well, i think the clouds are too realistic. but you have some talent in painting, did you use a tablet o_0

First of all thanks for making a wallpaper based on my favorite character Sakura. [Oh! she always looks so cute. 8)E emoticon

The wallpaper is just awesome. You've really had given the gentle effect in the wall by using brushes [I liked it, especially] the texture you've given is fine and sober. The wings especially attract the eyes in the first vision, cause it's different from the usuall one. But I have to say that you choose to make your wallpaper very different, cause very few people change the vector to something more incredible [like what you've done with her wings is a eg. cause her white wings are like a identification of her, so it was really on my demand to see something different]. I think black always suits Sakura, so the black wings on her back also looks fine on her. As for background you've also given it a nice texture.
You'd done a creative work and a brillient job in my prospect.
And the theme of the wall 'I know deep inside you'll always be mine' is really great. [I love it]
So thanks, once again for sharing it with us.
Adding it as a favorite [how could I miss this one] ^_^

You know you have your own style to walling! Definitely! From afar, before seeing your name, I knew it was yours. XD I think you're improving your painting. ^^ I like the details in her hair and those wings are great! Using the Haibane scan for reference and that tutorial worked out nicely. This is a very dark CCS wallpaper. O__o Definitely not the normal one! But I like it. I think there's too much texture though...and perhaps add some more light behind her because her darkness sort of melts into the bg. But it's still very good. I'll fave~

the perspective its kinda confusing, and it would have been better if the girl could have blended more with the background, anyway your idea is pretty nice ^^ good job!

Arts and colors in the wallpaper is very gorgeous. They are drawing deep silence in her face and heart. The watercolors are very classical and graceful. Reversed atmosphere from the opening is creative.
