I did it in response to demand for a background created from scratch, as opposed to a stock photo. It's done by mouse, as I don't own a tablet. This is somewhat a Version 2, because the previous one had a stock photo in it (modified).
The background is made using brushes by me too. I got inspired by inkblots when making those for the sky, but the grass brush is made with Pen (a simple approach) and the leaves of the bushes are a traced leaf of a horn-beam tree. Photoshop CS has somewhat weird behavior with the varying of brightness, but it didn't come out so bad, so I'll leave it as it is.
