Time for some DNAngel! I'm so happy with all of the art sugisaki has been putting out for this series...man I remember doing slash and burn searches for the stuff a few years ago and finding nothing. the manga was still nihongo-only and I think volume three had just come off the presses. goodness i feel dated now. XD I ended up buying the Neutral artbook which started my artook craze... :neko: good times :neko: I really like simple black and white art...I saw this scan and started playing around to that end and once i decided what I wanted to do, out came my favorite tool. :neko: I redrew parts of it and masked out others...embedding the halftone dots was pretty elaborate and frustrating because i'd keep finding areas that i missed and had to go back over them. XD but I think it came out well in the end. :neko: I wanted a soft sort of ethereal look. :neko:
